Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fully remote team supporting operations globally. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable fintech solutions, mentor junior engineers, and influence architectural decisions across projects.

We value strong backend expertise with Java/Python/Go, cloud platform experience, and a passion for delivering robust APIs and microservices in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in software development with backend focus.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python/Java/Go/C#).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to translate requirements.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and establish best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
