Job summary

Dixie Recruitment is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to own Exchange Control and Treasury Compliance. The role requires hands-on experience in a TOC / FX Intermediary environment, with a focus on automation and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will lead RMCP/FICA/KYC compliance, oversee SARB applications, and mentor junior staff, while collaborating with banking partners and internal teams in a fintech-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Exchange Control and Treasury Compliance.
• Essential TOC / FX Intermediary environment experience.
• Proven experience dealing with Exchange Control, AML and FICA.
• Hands-on SARB application experience.
• Experience in payments and treasury operations, incl. SWIFT and GPI.
• Experience delivering compliance training and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage Exchange Control and Treasury Compliance across the business.
• Manage relationships with Capitec and/or Investec Exchange Control, AML and FICA teams.
• Handle SARB applications, including emigration cases, third-party payment approvals, blocked accounts, renewals, escalations and loans.
• Ensure compliance with RMCP, FICA, FATCA, AML and KYC requirements.
• Oversee KYC remediation and client onboarding compliance.
• Support Treasury and Payments Operations, including SWIFT tracing, GPI tracking, deal booking and resolving payment delays with banking partners.
• Identify opportunities to digitise, automate and improve compliance processes and systems.
• Own the RMCP and compliance training programme.
• Deliver training to internal staff and franchise partners.
• Mentor and support junior compliance team members.
• Provide guidance and practical compliance support across the business.
