Job summary

Crayon is seeking a Financial Manager to lead financial operations in the Western Cape. You will oversee creditors, debtors, VAT compliance, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting to support project objectives.

You will manage procurement, import/export processes, ERP optimization, and ensure accurate reporting of cash flow and inventories across vessels and projects. Experience in ERP systems and financial controls is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent.
• Experience in financial management or accounting roles.
• Familiarity with financial processes, procurement, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full creditors function, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation of supplier invoices.
• Manage debtors function including invoicing, receipting, and credit control.
• Perform account allocations, month-end reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Manage VAT control and compliance with SARS requirements.
• Lead procurement, negotiation, and coordination of orders with project requirements.
• Oversee import/export processes, documentation, and logistics.
