Job summary

The Talent Experts is seeking a financially astute professional to lead group management accounts, consolidations and related reporting for a growing renewable energy group. You will own dashboards, month-end reviews and budgeting, with exposure to cross-border currency and multi-entity structures.

Ideally CA (SA) with 2–3 years post-articles or CIMA with ~5 years experience; strong technical skills and a proactive, adaptable mindset are essential to succeed in this senior role.

• Exposure to foreign currency and multi-entity structures is advantageous.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

This is broader than financial control. You’ll take ownership of group management accounts, dashboards, month-end reviews, tax compliance, covenant calculations, fixed assets, intercompany balances, audits and budgeting while supporting group consolidations and system improvements. You’ll work across a substantial multi-entity structure with SA and international exposure, including foreign currency. You’ll enjoy this because you’ll take meaningful senior-level work off the Group Financial Manager’s desk and build genuine breadth towards future finance leadership.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a growing, multi-entity renewable energy organisation operating across SA within a technically driven and project-focused industry. The team is young, energetic and highly dedicated, with a strong work ethic balanced by a social and collaborative culture. Their offices are based in Stellenbosch. There is 1 day work from home.

What you’ll need

Ideally, you’re a CA (SA) with around 2 to 3 years’ post-articles experience. Strong CIMA or equivalent registered accounting professionals may also be considered where you bring approximately 5 years’ relevant experience. Exposure to management accounts, group reporting or consolidations and foreign currency will stand out. Multi-entity experience is advantageous, although the right proactive, adaptable personality matters just as much.
