Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (SA) Ltd is seeking a customer-focused sales and service professional in South Africa. The role involves advising on a range of products to an allocated market, retaining and growing business, and handling inquiries with strong CRM discipline.

You will build relationships with decision-makers, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to business development through proactive prospecting and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Driver’s licence and Own Car.
• FAIS Compliance.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience (preferably in sales).
• Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Presentations skills an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to customers while identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention.
• Process cases, deal with complex queries, and resolve customer problems.
• Analyze problems to find the best solutions (technical or professional).
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests; refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Enter relevant information into the CRM after each contact to enable retention and growth.
• Set objectives for sales calls; tailor materials for decision-makers and influencers.
• Develop a relationship management plan to identify and build stakeholder networks.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures and regulatory codes; obtain supervisor authorization for exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data to identify areas for business development.
• Represent the organization at sector events and expand visibility.
• Conduct data exploration using primary data sources and BI tools.
• Demonstrate value of networking within internal and external networks.
