Job summary

Bridgena Barnard Personnel Group is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our client’s dynamic finance team in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting.

The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and payroll where required, and ensuring monthly management accounts are completed on time.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting or audit.
• BCom Honours preferred in financial accounting.
• SAIPA membership/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including payroll and general ledger activities.
• Ensure monthly management accounts are completed on time in full.
• Report to Finance Manager and collaborate with the finance team.

We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join our clients dynamic team in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. As the Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Manager and play a key role in the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• BCom Honours pref but not essential, majoring in financial accounting together with SAIPA membership/registration.
• Proven track record of at least 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a financial accounting or audit role, demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
• Independent self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to deliver.
• Manufacturing experience will be advantageous.

Duties:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reporting.
