Talented Recruitment Specialists in Durban is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our fashion retailer client. The role oversees day-to-day financial operations and supports the preparation of management accounts.

You will manage reconciliations, payroll administration, supervise the Bookkeeper, and ensure accuracy of financial records, with strong Excel, Pastel and Xero skills.

Qualifications

• Financial Accounting degree.
• Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Pastel and Xero.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee financial reconciliations.
• Manage payroll administration.
• Supervise the Bookkeeper, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Assist with ad hoc financial processing and accounting duties.
