Pump and abrasion Technologies is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage the full accounting function in a high-pressure environment in Centurion. You will handle source-to-trial balance processing, VAT, intercompany invoicing, and monthly management reporting.

The role requires a BCom in Accounting with SAIPA/SAICA membership, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work extended hours when needed. Experience with Syspro is an advantage, and you will contribute to accurate financials and tax

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years experience in financial management
• BCom Degree in Accounting is compulsory
• Membership at SAIPA or SAICA
• Syspro experience is an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to work extended hours as required
• Detail oriented with drive to get things right first time
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a high-pressure environment
• Strong sense of urgency and financial acumen

Responsabilidades

• Full accounting function
• End-to-end processing from source documents to trial balance
• Prepare and process monthly journals, salary journals, depreciation journals, and interest on loan accounts
• General ledger reconciliations
• Cash book processing and reconciliation
• Debtors and creditors control account reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly VAT calculations and VAT reconciliations
• Prepare monthly intercompany invoices
• Prepare monthly management reports and accounts
• Prepare annual financial statements and assist with audits and queries
• Calculate corporate income tax
• Submit and manage SARS e-filing and liaise with SARS as needed
• Manage loans
• Prepare monthly costs by projects
• Filing annual returns
• EMP501 and EMP201
• IT14 tax returns
• Administrative duties
