Job summary

Pump and abrasion Technologies in Centurion, Gauteng, is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage the full accounting function from source documents to trial balance.

The role requires a BCom in Accounting with SAIPA or SAICA membership, strong Excel, Syspro knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure; expect extended hours. You will prepare journals, VAT, bank reconciliations, and assist with audits.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting is compulsory.
• Membership of SAIPA or SAICA is required.
• Syspro experience is advantageous.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office proficiency are essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Full accounting function from source documents to trial balance.
• Prepare and process monthly journals (salary, depreciation, loan interest).
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and cash book processing.
• Reconcile debtors and creditors; perform bank reconciliations.
• Calculate and reconcile VAT on a monthly basis.

Job Description - FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Key Competencies & requirements:

• 3 to 5 Years experience in Financial management
• BCom Degree in Accounting - COMPULSORY
• Membership at SAIPA or SAICA
• Syspro experience will be an added advantage
• Established proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Availability to work extended hours as per operational requirements
