Blue Pearl PTY is seeking an experienced Business Transformation Consultant – Finance in Cape Town to lead strategic and financial transformation initiatives within a dynamic project environment.

The role focuses on optimizing financial performance, improving planning capabilities, and driving sustainable business change, requiring CA background, SAP experience, and strong stakeholder partnerships to identify gaps and implement finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• CA qualification and registration as a professional accountant.
• 8–10 years in finance transformation or advisory.
• Experience with SAP and finance systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Strategic & Financial Transformation: advise on finance-led transformation initiatives.
• Assess performance gaps and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Refine or develop transformation strategies aligned to market needs.
• Provide insights to support financial and operational improvements.
• Lead planning and forecasting processes (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, long-range, rolling forecasts, capex, HR, project, production).
• Implement process improvements and change interventions across finance and business processes.
• Ensure alignment of finance transformation with business strategy and goals.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
• Collaborate across functions to enable adoption of new processes.
• Leverage SAP and other systems to support planning and reporting.
