Job summary

Communicate Finance in South Africa is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to oversee investment deployments, disbursements, liquidations and dividend schedules across a diverse range of funds. You will perform reconciliations and ad-hoc data analyses to support the Investments and Executive Teams.

You will own issues, escalate when needed, and drive solutions to completion while mentoring a direct report.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business/Commerce, or equivalent.
• CFA Level 1 and 2 would be highly advantageous.
• Strong data analysis and finance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate investment deployments, disbursements, liquidations, and dividend schedules across funds and asset classes.
• Perform timely reconciliations and ad-hoc data analysis to support Investments and Executive Teams.
• Take ownership of issues as they arise - identify, escalate, and drive solutions to completion.
• Manage a direct report and uphold compliance and control standards for investors.
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance and grow with increasing responsibilities.

• Ensuring accurate investment deployments, disbursements, liquidations, and dividend schedules across a broad range of funds and asset classes
• Performing timely reconciliations and completing ad-hoc data analysis to support the Investments and Executive Teams
• Taking ownership of issues as they arise - identifying, articulating, escalating, and driving solutions to completion
• Managing a direct report and playing a pivotal role in delivering world‑class service to investors while maintaining critical compliance and control standards
• Working closely with (and being mentored by) the Head of Finance, with a clear growth trajectory and increasing responsibility for high performers
