Iridium, a leading cloud accounting firm in Cape Town, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead our Cape Town team. You will oversee a high-performing group of accountants, drive client success, and push operational excellence in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• CA‑SA progression and completed articles are required.
• Degree in accounting (BCom/BAcc) or honours in accounting/management accounting.
• Experience in cloud accounting platforms and client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage monthly and quarterly work plans for the team.
• Review accounting deliverables to ensure top-tier quality.
• Provide coaching, technical guidance, and training to staff.
• Own client relationships and lead regular meetings using playbooks.
• Ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Champion team wellbeing and conduct regular one-on-ones.
• Guide the team through SARS reviews and audits.
• Lead performance reviews and mentor future leaders.
