Job summary

Iridium, a market-leading cloud accounting firm in Pretoria, seeks an AFS & Tax Coordinator for a hybrid role. You will draft Annual Financial Statements for a diverse client portfolio and assist with tax tasks while maintaining high-quality financial reporting standards.

You will work closely with accounting teams and report to the Technical Manager (Tax & Financial Statements). The role offers a collaborative environment with flexible hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ drafting Annual Financial Statements.
• Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero.
• Experience using CaseWare or DraftWorx.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• SAIPA or CIMA/CGMA designation (newly qualified as this is an entry level role post articles).

Responsibilities

• Draft, coordinate, and finalise Annual Financial Statements for multiple clients.
• Review compliance of financial statements with IFRS for SMEs.
• Support month-end close processes when needed.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects.
• Support accounting teams with AFS-related queries.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of year-end reporting quality.
