A leading global company in South Africa is seeking a Financial Manager to drive financial strategy and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years' experience in financial management, including budget preparation, financial forecasting, and risk management. A BCom Accounting Degree and CIMA certification are preferred. This role plays a critical part in aligning financial and operational processes with company goals.

What You'll Be Doing: Responsibilities & Deliverables

• You will be a key leader in our business, driving financial strategy and operational efficiency. Your role will encompass:
• Financial Management: Compiling annual and project-based budgets, preparing and submitting monthly financial forecasts, and providing critical financial reporting and insight to business managers and client executives.
• Commercial Strategy: Driving contracts and commercial agreements, working closely with the COO to ensure all new and existing clients are under contract.
• Financial Analysis & Risk: Performing scenario and sensitivity analysis for various business units, and managing financial risk by updating monthly risk reports, particularly around dissolution, notice periods, and outstanding debtors.
• Operational Oversight: Implementing the EOS framework to align operations, finance, and HR with the company’s vision and goals, developing operational processes for efficiency, and managing company payroll.
• Stakeholder & People Management: Acting as the primary contact between finance and the business, and managing the team to ensure goals and objectives are achieved in line with company strategy.

What We\'re Looking For: Experience & Qualifications

Education:

• BCom Accounting Degree at NQF level 7, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional certification like
• CIMA preferred

Experience:

• 5-7 years of proven experience as a Financial Manager. Oversight of operational functions is an added advantage. Preferably within the Digital or eCommerce sector
• Minimum of 3 years of Management Accounting exposure.
• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
