Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial function in a fast-moving oil and gas business in Johannesburg. You will own the numbers, influence decisions, and partner with senior leadership to drive performance.

This role requires at least 2 years post-articles experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals or Manufacturing, strong ERP exposure, and advanced Excel; Xero experience is advantageous in a lean environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' post-articles commercial experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals or Manufacturing sectors.
• Strong ERP systems exposure and advanced Excel; Xero experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting function and ensure financial accuracy
• Manage the creditors, debtors and supplier accounting processes
• Review reconciliations and ensure outstanding items are resolved
• Lead audit processes and ensure strong financial controls are maintained
• Manage and support the finance team while driving efficient processes
