Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a finance team member to handle analysis, administration, and reporting of financial accounts in Johannesburg, South Africa. Key tasks include ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct, preparing monthly cost center reports, assisting with month-end close processes, and supporting accounts receivable tasks.

The candidate should have at least a matric and a tertiary/university qualification in accounting or finance. Applicants should be ready to adhere to financial reporting deadlines and provide performance feedback on cost centers.

• Support administrative tasks related to accounts receivable.

Job description

This role supports the finance team in the analysis, administrative and reporting of South Africa financial accounts and not limited to the below:

• Ensure that Stryker’s Compliance and Ethics program is followed at all times and that there is strict adherence to the Code of Conduct in all interactions.
• Support regular feedback on performance of cost centers and allocated business units & General Ledger accounts.
• Assisting in the performance of month end close processes with adherence to reporting deadlines and assisting Finance Management with related tasks
• Support Poland Finance Center and Inventory COE.
• Prepare monthly cost Centre reporting to the business (BU P/L) & presentation of such.
• Prepare weekly sales reports and analysis.
• Support I2C with administrative and all accounts receivable related tasks.
• Perform ad hoc queries as requested by Management and the business.
• Submission of Vat 201 via e-filing and preparation of supporting documentation.
• Support annual financial statutory audits.
• Co-ordinate all finance communications as per guidance of Finance Manager.
• Attend to administrative matters of the Financial Reporting and Analysis function of Finance.

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum requirement matric with preferably tertiary/university qualification within the accounting or finance sphere.

Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
