Job summary

Momentum Health seeks a diligent finance admin professional to ensure accurate processing of financial transactions and strict adherence to administration processes. The role requires Matric, a finance diploma/degree desirable, 1–2 years experience, and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities include processing payments and journals, filing, bank entries, query resolution and assisting the accounting function. A 24-hour turnaround and diligent client service are expected.

Qualifications

• Matric is essential.
• Diploma or degree in finance desirable.
• 1–2 years of relevant finance experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles (debits/credits).
• Understanding of the operational systems.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process payment/Journal requests.
• Filing of documents.
• Processing bank entries into the application system.
• Deal with and resolve queries.
• Assist in the preparation of cashbooks.
• Assistance to the accounting function.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
• Strive for a 24 hour turnaround.
• Review of daily bank statements.
• Capturing of supplier ACB details.
• Investigate client queries and provide timely feedback.
