Job summary

Srg Recruitment (Pty) Ltd has a role for a motivated finance professional in Durban. The ideal candidate will support the finance function across treasury, accounting, tax, audit, reporting, budgeting, payroll and general finance administration.

Requirements include a BCom Accounting/Finance, SAIPA articles or progress toward CIMA, with strong Excel and reporting capabilities and a good grasp of journals and reconciliations. The role demands accuracy, organisation and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• A BCom Accounting/Finance qualification, SAIPA articles completed, or studying towards CIMA.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange.
• Good understanding of journals, reconciliations and accounting principles.
• Accurate, organised, deadline-driven and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with cash flow, banking and treasury administration
• Preparing reconciliations, journals and financial schedules
• Supporting tax, payroll and statutory submissions
• Assisting with audit preparation and reporting packs
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
