Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Film Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Experience with color grading and basic sound mixing techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into cohesive and engaging narrative sequences according to the director's vision.
• Select the best takes, arrange shots, and refine pacing to enhance storytelling.
• Incorporate sound effects, music, and dialogue to create a polished final product.
• Perform color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and aesthetic appeal.
• Collaborate with the post-production team, including sound designers and VFX artists.
• Manage and organize project files, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
