Job summary

CFW Fans (Pty) Ltd in South Africa seeks a Maintenance and Servicing Technician to perform routine maintenance and servicing, diagnose faults, install and maintain electrical systems for HVAC projects, and liaise with customers to ensure resolutions. The role requires a qualified electrician where possible, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

The ideal candidate has experience in HVAC/ventilation/fans, a strong mechanical background, and a proactive approach to service

Qualifications

Qualified/trade tested electrician (Red Seal) is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Experience in engineering field either HVAC / ventilation / fans or applications is advantageous.
Drivers license essential.
Background in refrigeration is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
Install and maintain electrical systems for HVAC and engineering projects.
Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure proper system integration.
Liaise with customers to ensure clear communication regarding service issues and resolutions.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
