Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Kompressoranlagen und Services is seeking a skilled field service technician to inspect, service, repair, test and report on compressor products at customer sites or in-house. The role includes providing technical support by phone to customers and training staff and customers in proper operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities include preparing quotes for spare parts and service opportunities, and travel to customer locations to perform inspections and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with technical/vocational background.
• Valid Millwright trade test certificate.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair, test and report on customer products at site or in-house.
• Prepare and submit written reports with recommendations.
• Train employees, customers and vendors on operation and maintenance of products.
• Identify spares and service opportunities and compile quotes for customers.
