Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa seeks a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site service, diagnose issues, perform installations, calibrations, and repairs to keep customers’ equipment running safely and reliably. You will work within our Customer Center Service team, traveling to sites within your area and reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma or Degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong focus on customer service and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Installations, safety compliance, and documentation of activities.
• Act as on-site contact delivering service recommendations and customer support.
• Provide technical service and support on-site and through repairs and tool calibrations.
• Maintain records and complete reports on repairs and incidents.
• Plan and execute installations at customer premises according to ISO procedures.
