Job summary

GE HealthCare in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair Cyclotron, PET/CT, CT, and Nuclear Medicine systems across Gauteng and beyond. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and complex repairs, ensuring uptime and regulatory compliance in a radiopharmacy environment.

The role requires 4-5+ years of field service experience, a Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, and strong problem-solving and communication

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience servicing Cyclotron systems in a radiopharmacy environment is strongly preferred.

What We're Looking For

• 4-5+ years of Field Service Engineering experience.
• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience servicing Cyclotron systems in a radiopharmacy environment is strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, extensive hands-on experience with PET/CT, CT, or Nuclear Medicine systems.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Advanced troubleshooting, fault-finding, and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Gauteng region, with occasional travel to other African countries.
