Job summary

Cape Town-based opportunity for a Field Service Technical Assistant to support field operations across building systems including HVAC, fire systems, lifts, generators and transformers. The successful candidate will assist with inspections, fault identification, contractor coordination and keep precise technical records.

Qualifications

• HVAC and building services knowledge required.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems is preferred.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support field service operations for HVAC, fire, lifts and gensets.
• Assist with asset monitoring, fault identification and contractor coordination.
• Maintain accurate technical records and compliance logs.
• Communicate downtime and maintenance schedules to tenants.
• Participate in after-hours emergency call-outs as needed.
