Job summary

CBRE Excellerate is seeking an HVAC Technician in Kimberley, South Africa to install, service and repair a range of HVAC systems across client sites. You will decommission, commission, and maintain systems while using mobile apps to manage work orders and reporting.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience of 2+ years with trade-tested certification advantageous.
• Basic electrical knowledge relevant to HVAC systems.
• Willingness to travel between sites and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and reporting skills using mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Decommissioning old HVAC systems and safe disposal when required.
• Installing, commissioning, and maintaining new HVAC systems.
• Performing routine maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
• Providing accurate reports on HVAC systems.
• Liaising with clients for updates and technical advice.
• Completing daily admin tasks using mobile technology.
• Managing supplier quotes and coordinating with contractors.
• Attending site call-outs promptly and handling maintenance tasks.
• Conducting site checks per SLAs and standby duties.
