Job summary

Buckman is seeking an Intermediate Level Customer Equipment Engineer in Hammarsdale, South Africa. The role focuses on delivering field equipment expertise, supporting Buckman Sales, and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient feeding of Buckman products into customer applications.

The successful candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, lead HAZOP studies, manage asset and equipment planning, and travel extensively to challenging plants, communicating effectively at all levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years knowledge of Buckman’s key markets and equipment.
• Familiar with engineering or maintenance of pumps and control monitors in industrial chemical feed systems.
• Understanding materials of construction/compatibility of materials and ability to lead a HAZOP study.

Responsibilities

• Provides Technical Resources as SME to support Buckman South Africa.
• Knowledge of Buckman processes, products, functions and impact on operations.
• Fosters relationships and acts as trusted advisor to drive project performance.
• Equipment design and standardization aligned to Global Equipment standards.
• Provides Customer Equipment Technical Resources aligned with Buckman SA goals.
