Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Fiber Optic Network Planner to join their fully remote engineering team. This role focuses on strategic design and planning of a growing fiber network, mapping routes, evaluating deployment strategies, and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will work with GIS/CAD tools to produce route maps, conduct feasibility studies, coordinate with vendors remotely, and support network expansion with accurate asset data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of fiber optic network planning or design.
• Proficiency with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and network design tools.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic cable technologies, splicing, and installation best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in managing project timelines and coordinating with remote vendors and teams.

Responsibilities
