Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an energetic E-commerce Social Media & Influencer Marketing Coordinator for our Soweto, Gauteng office. You will manage social channels, craft engaging content, and build influencer partnerships to drive brand presence.

The role requires a creative, organized communicator with a strong grasp of fashion trends and influencer marketing within ecommerce. You will collaborate with marketing and creative teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media for ecommerce
• Proven influencer collaboration experience
• Strong writing and basic visual editing skills
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing/communications/fashion merchandising

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the company’s presence on key social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including posts, stories, reels and videos.
• Identify, vet and onboard relevant influencers for collaboration campaigns.
• Develop and manage influencer campaigns with clear objectives and deliverables.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with influencers within budget and brand guidelines.
• Monitor conversations, respond to comments/messages and foster community engagement.
• Track and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI).
• Stay updated on latest social trends and influencer marketing best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on cohesive campaign messaging.
• Assist in social media content calendars and campaign plans.
