Qualifications

  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming raw materials and outgoing finished produce for quality, ripeness, size, color, and absence of defects.
  • Implement and adhere to established quality control protocols and standards for various types of produce.
  • Conduct regular checks on storage conditions, handling practices, and packaging to ensure product integrity.
  • Identify and document any quality deviations or non-conforming products, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide feedback to farm supervisors and workers on quality issues and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and quality metrics.
