Job summary

Placements24 has an opening for a diligent Quality Control Inspector to oversee material, in-process, and finished goods quality for operations around Upington. You will conduct inspections, tests, and measurements to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer specifications.

Using calipers, micrometers, gauges and other calibrated tools, you will document results, identify non-conformities, and collaborate with production and engineering to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Quality Control Inspector in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience in Oil & Gas supply chain is advantageous.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and quality standards.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills to work with Upington production staff.
