Placements24 is seeking a skilled Farm Mechanization Specialist to manage and maintain the fleet of agricultural machinery near Polokwane. You will oversee preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and advise on new technologies to improve uptime and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a trade qualification in mechanical engineering or agricultural machinery, at least seven years of hands-on experience, and proficiency with hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Machinery, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems in heavy equipment.
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.
