The successful candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, in-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery systems, and the ability to work safely in a busy workshop and field environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Farm Machinery Technician or similar mechanical repair role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools effectively.
• Welding and fabrication experience is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate farm machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tractors, combines, balers, and other farm equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Conduct pre-season inspections and prepare equipment for field performance.
• Order and manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed during maintenance and repair operations.
