Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Family Support Counsellor to join our Community & Social Care team in Mahikeng. You will provide guidance to families facing relationship conflicts, parenting challenges, and life transitions, fostering healthier communication.

You will work with family members, apply evidence-based therapies, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with social workers and educators to strengthen family well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Registered Counsellor or equivalent accreditation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family therapy or counselling.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities for families and individuals.
• Strong understanding of family systems theory and child development.
