Job summary

Excellerate is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager in Johannesburg to lead planning, development, and execution of facilities operations for client portfolios. You will oversee service delivery, budgeting, and vendor management, ensuring maintenance, safety and cost efficiency.

Candidates should have Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical qualifications, strong leadership, and at least five years in related roles, including supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• - Matric is required and Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical qualification is a must.
• - HVAC/Electrical/Mechanical qualification and related maintenance training are required.
• - Knowledge of budgeting, service contracts, and leasing agreements.
• - Proven supervisory experience of 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• - Plan, organise, and direct activities of assigned buildings or client premises.
• - Oversee service delivery, procure services, and direct maintenance procedures.
• - Ensure facilities and equipment are well maintained and safe.
• - Manage third party service providers and vendors daily.
• - Respond to emergencies to maximise client uptime.
• - Develop and implement safety directives and cost controls.
