Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Facilities Sanitation Officer to oversee and manage sanitation operations across the Nelspruit sites in Mpumalanga. The role requires proactive leadership to maintain top hygiene standards, safety compliance, and smooth facility operations for employees and visitors.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sanitation management, team leadership, and a solid understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in sanitation management or related facilities role.
• Experience leading and motivating a cleaning team.
• Expertise in sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct inspections and create action plans for the Nelspruit facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation strategies for all facilities in the Nelspruit area.
• Supervise and train a team of sanitation staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and performance standards.
