Placements24 is seeking a diligent Facilities Cleaning Specialist to oversee cleaning and maintenance of our Randburg premises. The role blends on-site duties with remote coordination for scheduling and inventory management.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing cleaning routines, operating equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards to maintain a welcoming work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities cleaning or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment operation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Execute cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders, potentially through remote systems.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, adapting to the needs of the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
