Job summary

Peermont Global Proprietary Limited is seeking a Casino Floor Supervisor to oversee all aspects of the Casino Floor within budgetary limits and ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. You will monitor Food & Beverage policies, supervise staff and conduct daily hygiene and safety checks.

The role requires Matric/Grade 12, 2 years of relevant F&B experience, and shift-work flexibility. Proficiency in MS Office and Micros POS is expected, with knowledge of cost controls a plus.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• 2 years related experience in a Food & Beverage service environment is required.
• Shift work is an operational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Casino Floor, ensuring adherence to Food & Beverage policies and procedures.
• Supervise Casino Floor Staff, including Waitrons, Barmen, Chefs and Stewards.
• Conduct daily hygiene walkabouts, complete checklists, enforce cleaning standards and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Assist Management in dealing with Customer Complaints.
• Perform regular stock takes (10 day, 20 day, and monthly) with Barmen and Stock Controllers.
• Monitor and enforce the Signing In and Out procedures for all contract staff.
• Submit timesheets to the labour service provider and monitor clock-in/out transactions.

Main Responsibilites

• Supervise the daily operations of the Casino Floor, by adhering to Food & Beverage policies and procedures;
• Supervise Casino Floor Staff, i.e. Waitrons, Barmen, Chefs and Stewards;
• conduct daily hygiene walkabouts, complete the required checklists, enforce the correct cleaning standards, Health & Safety standards and operating equipment;
• Assist Management in dealing with Customer Complaints;
• Perform 10 day, 20 day and monthly stock takes with Barmen and Stock Controllers;
• Monitor and adhere to the “Signing In and Out Control” Procedures for all contract services staff;
• Submit timesheets to the labour service provider’s office on a daily basis and monitor clock in and clock out transactions on K Log report.
