Job summary

Nedbank is seeking an experienced security professional to provide executive protection for senior leaders and high-profile staff in Cape Town and beyond. The role includes assessing threats, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring safety during travel and events.

The ideal candidate will have PSIRA Grade A and an advanced qualification in security, with hands-on experience in protective driving, first aid, and incident reporting. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications: Advanced Diploma or National 1st Degree; Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Preferred: Level 5/6 in Security Management or Law Enforcement.
• Essential Certifications: PSIRA Grade A, Physical Security Professional.
• Preferred Certifications: Close Protection Officer/ Executive Protection course, PSIRA Grade A.

Responsibilities

• Provide discreet, professional personal security for Nedbank executives and threatened staff.
• Respond to emergencies and protection requests involving threatened employees.
• Travel with executives on national and international assignments as required.
• Implement Nedbank's Executive Protection and Threatened Staff Policy.
• Plan and oversee security for major corporate and public events.
• Conduct threat assessments and coordinate with internal/external teams.
