Job summary

Qualifications

• Honours degree at NQF Level 8 in a security-related field.
• Minimum 13 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years in security management at management level.
• Minimum 5 years of senior management experience.
• PSIRA registration required.
• Strong knowledge of SA legislation and aviation security standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated enterprise security strategy.
• Establish enterprise-wide governance, assurance and enforcement frameworks.
• Lead risk management, threat intelligence and analytics.
• Oversee investigations into criminal activity and security incidents.
• Ensure investigations are compliant and well-documented.
• Coordinate enforcement outcomes with Legal, HR and units.
• Lead loss prevention initiatives.
• Provide executive oversight of aviation security and perimeter protection.
• Drive security technology strategy and digital transformation.
• Partner with IT to strengthen cyber-physical security.
• Build relationships with regulators and law enforcement.
• Represent the organization at security forums.
