Job summary

Netcare invites you to be part of our journey as Hospital General Manager. You will lead the business unit and EXCO, shaping strategy, ensuring sustainable site performance, and driving growth. You’ll scan macro/micro environments, implement plans, and foster inclusive leadership to maximize value for patients and stakeholders.

You will build doctor networks, manage finances, and lead high-impact initiatives across branding, transformation, and risk management while upholding Netcare’s values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership position.
• Senior leadership in a hospital environment and/or service related environment.
• Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management.
• Strong and persuasive negotiating skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and implement key performance areas for the business unit.
• Secure and manage sufficient financial resources to facilitate business development or expansion.
• Develop and achieve financial objectives for the business unit, aligned to regional and group targets.
• Build and enhance relationships with medical doctors and liaise with a complex network of stakeholders to drive business growth and sustainability.
• Drive adoption of transformational strategies including innovation and digital initiatives.
