Job summary

Sigma Connected Group in Cape Town seeks a Director of Operational Financial Services to lead through Heads of Department, setting clear strategic direction and delivering exceptional client, people and commercial outcomes across the Financial Services portfolio.

You will own performance across client KPIs, governance, budgeting and profitability, coach senior leaders, build succession pipelines and advance client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with at least 5 years as Head of Department or director in Financial Services.
• Proven ability to lead leaders across multiple campaigns or locations.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory governance and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead through Heads of Department, setting strategic direction and accountability.
• Own performance metrics across portfolio, including KPIs, CSAT/NPS and profitability.
• Develop leadership capability, succession plans and high-accountability culture.
• Oversee budget management, cost control and revenue delivery.
• Represent the portfolio in client engagements and governance forums.
