Executive CFO, Strategic Finance Leader for Divisional EPC

Job summary

Lesedi Nuclear Services (Pty) Ltd, a multi-divisional EPC group operating across five divisions in South Africa and abroad, seeks an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to steer the financial direction at this level of complexity.

The CFO will oversee all financial aspects, serve as principal advisor to the CEO, EXCO and Board, and ensure alignment of financial strategy with long-term objectives. This is a senior executive role with a standing seat on the Executive Committee.

Qualifications

• CA (SA) or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
• Membership in good standing of SAICA or similar body.
• At least 10 years post-articles experience in EPC environments.
• At least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO/Finance Director).
• Experience engaging with Board, shareholders and regulators at a senior level.
• Practical experience with IFRS 10 and IFRS 15 (IFRS 50).
• Strong tax and cross-border (international) experience.
• Experience in intercompany and subsidiary management.
• Proven cash management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial functions across divisional P&Ls, including monthly reporting, revenue management and cost analysis.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting (IFRS, tax, audits).
• Drive treasury functions, cash flow forecasting and debtors/creditors management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across the group.
• Interface with banks, auditors, regulators, shareholders and clients.
