Placements24 is seeking an experienced Event Operations Coordinator for the Welkom, Free State region. You will manage all logistical aspects of large-scale events, coordinate vendors, oversee on-site operations, and ensure events are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires a proactive, organized professional with strong communication skills, capable of handling multiple events in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are advantageous.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event coordination or operations, preferably with festivals or large-scale events.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, equipment rental, and staffing.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution.
• Develop and manage event schedules, timelines, and operational plans.
• Oversee on-site event operations, managing staff, volunteers, and contractors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues before, during, or after an event.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and process invoices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and obtain permits and licenses.
• Assist with event marketing and promotion as required.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and explore new partnerships.
