Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking a talented Pastry Chef de Partie / Senior Pastry Chef de Partie for a picturesque estate in the Worcester area. You will prepare pastries, desserts and breads, ensure mise en place and maintain high quality and presentation.

The role involves seasonal dessert development, dietary accommodation and coordinating with the kitchen to ensure timely service. Candidates should have pastry experience at a quality restaurant, hotel or estate kitchen, with a formal Grade 12 and

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent formal qualification.
Experience as Pastry Chef de Partie or Senior Pastry Chef de Partie in quality restaurant, hotel or estate kitchen.
Culinary or pastry qualification would be advantageous.
Strong pastry techniques, baking and dessert preparation.
Good understanding of food safety, stock rotation and portion control.

Responsibilities

Prepare pastries, desserts, cakes, breads and other baked items according to approved recipes.
Ensure mise en place is complete and ready before service.
Maintain consistent quality, portion sizes, decoration and presentation.
Assist with developing seasonal desserts and new pastry ideas.
Communicate and accommodate dietary requirements and allergies carefully.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
