Job summary

AVBOB South Africa is seeking an ESG specialist to support the operationalisation of the Group’s ESG Strategic Framework within the Shared Value and Sustainability Department. You will coordinate, report and, in some cases, execute ESG activities in line with approved policies and plans under the General Manager: Shared Value and Sustainability.

You will contribute to data-driven decisions by providing subject-matter guidance to the ESG Committee and collaborating with business units to monitor

Qualifications

• Strong communication and analytic skills required.
• Experience in ESG concepts and sustainability reporting is beneficial.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and departments.

Responsibilities

• Support the ESG Strategic Framework implementation across the Group.
• Coordinate ESG and ESD activities and reports per policy and plan.
• Provide technical input to ESG and ESD programs to drive social impact objectives.
• Gather learnings and insights from ESG/ESD programs nationally and internationally.
• Support governance reporting including Social and Ethics disclosures.
