Job summary

Vodacom is seeking a Project Manager for EVO ERP Systems to drive a finance transformation initiative. You will lead cross-functional teams, partner with SI partners and local stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high quality across processes and systems.

The role emphasizes Agile/project leadership, ERP experience, and telecoms domain know-how to deliver complex billing/data warehouse solutions within a multinational context.

Qualifications

• Matric is essential.
• 3-year Diploma or Bachelor degree in IT or related is essential.
• 5+ years experience in IT Project Management.
• Experience working with teams across demographic regions.
• Experience in ERP Platforms – Preferred.
• 5 years+ telecoms experience.
• Experience in deploying billing systems / data warehouse, ideally with Shared services centre integration.

Responsibilities

• Be on the frontline daily; partner with the chosen systems integrator, Group and your market as well as Finance, HR and Supply Chain with IT central teams.
• Accountable for project deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget implementation with quality as per exit criteria.
• Manage and influence Local stakeholders for smooth project delivery and changes.
• Lead overall project execution including business transformation & technology implementation with focus on budget, time and quality.
• Establish governance processes for timely decisions with all stakeholders.
• Apply planning, tracking, change control and risk management techniques.
• Review local market implementation plans and mitigation actions.
• Identify deviations from timelines/quality and manage stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Escalation points for project members and central teams.
• Demonstrate people and business management capabilities.
