Job summary

PSG Konsult Ltd. is seeking a Securities Trader in Rosebank, Gauteng, to manage private client portfolios and execute trades on local and offshore exchanges.

The role emphasises stewardship of a high-net-worth book, with potential to consolidate an existing client base into an equity partnership. The candidate will perform securities research, financial modeling, and performance reporting using Iress, Bloomberg Terminal and Morningstar to access market data.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) majoring in Finance, Economics, Investment Management, Corporate Finance, or a heavily financial/accounting-focused degree.
• SAIFM Equity Market module completed alongside Regulation and Ethics module.
• FSCA RE5 for Representatives passed.
• 3+ years of direct experience in equities trading or private client wealth.

Responsibilities

• Manage private client securities portfolios and execute trades across local and international equity exchanges.
• Engage day-trading clients to structure, execute, and scale trade volumes.
• Grow Assets Under Management through long-term asset allocation frameworks.
• Maintain proficiency with trading systems (Iress, Bloomberg Terminal, Morningstar) to access market data.
