Placements24 is seeking an Environmental Engineer for its Mahikeng, North West practice. You will conduct EIAs, develop EMPs/EMS, ensure regulatory compliance, and advise clients on environmental permitting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related science.
• 4+ years of experience in environmental consulting, compliance, or sustainability roles.
• Experience with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
• Knowledge of environmental legislation (NEMA, MPRDA, EIA Regulations).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in environmental assessment software and MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the North West.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and Systems (EMS).
• Advise clients on environmental legal compliance and permit acquisition.
• Conduct environmental site assessments and audits.
