Job summary

Omnia Holdings, through its BME Production and Logistics unit, seeks a Compliance Coordinator to provide administrative and data collection support on environmental issues for the SHERQ management team across BME sites. This role reports to the Plant Manager and is based in Mpumalanga.

Key responsibilities include monitoring environmental legislation, tracking diesel usage, coordinating ISO 14001 activities, and supporting CSI projects in collaboration with HR.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent and SAMTRAC Certificate.
• 2 years demonstrated experience in on-time reporting and admin support for risk, safety, health, quality and environment.
• 1 year demonstrated experience in D365 administration / Isometrics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production targets as per the schedule.
• Monitor and track environmental legislation at all BME sites and verify closed-off actions.
• Track and monitor usage of diesel and other fuel sources.
• Conduct site audits on diesel inventory.
• Liaise with spillage response service providers.
• Track costs related to environmental incidents.
• Support environmental investigations.
• Collate data for carbon footprint updates to group SHERQ.
• Coordinate all activities for the ISO 14001 audit including document control.
• Monitor CSI projects at BME sites in collaboration with HR.
