Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Telecoms Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. This entry-level role offers mentorship from experienced engineers and hands-on exposure to telecom design, installation, and maintenance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
Basic understanding of telecommunications principles, networks, and associated technologies expected.
Familiarity with network hardware, software, and protocols is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Willingness to travel to different sites as required.

Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers in the design and deployment of telecommunications network infrastructure.
Support the installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment and services.
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under supervision, ensuring network stability.
Document network configurations, procedures, and test results accurately.
Participate in site surveys and assist with the implementation of new telecom solutions.
